I absolutely loved this book and I must say that if you are an audiobook listener then listen to the audio over reading the physical book. Troy Duran and Keira Stevens bring the characters to life exquisitely. I like that Mariposa is a strong female character that does not let the downfall of society stop her from trying to help others and is willing to stand up to the president of the club. There is plenty of action and slow-burn spice in the first book and keeps you wanting more.

The only thing I would say as a negative is the time spacing a little bit. The first part of the book goes day by day. The middle of the book when they are at the club’s home base time moves faster and suddenly days to weeks have gone by. Then towards the end it becomes a really long day.

This book is filled with a variety of different characters and descriptions. It is a great read and even more amazing listen.
