By Jaymin Eve

Mera wakes up next to her true mate, with the life she once imagined, until her father challenged the alpha. However, she’s plagued by missing memories, remembering only her true mate’s rejection and sensing inconsistencies in her reality. Her stubbornness prevents her from accepting a life she knows she no longer belongs to. With the help of a new friend, she embarks on a quest for answers. Can they undo the wrongs done to Mera and her friends?
Jaymin Eve manages to pack so much in this third installment, but it is done very well where it does not feel rushed at all. There are twists throughout the story that keep you on the edge of your seat. The spice has ramped up to boiling levels and Shadow knows how to speak love very well.
If I had to give a dislike, it would be that Simone and Sam are sent back to Torma to keep them safe. I think Mera’s girl posse should have been able to stick together.
